Tools for everyday life.
I strive to bring genuineness, humor and warmth into the therapy room, but you deserve even more than that. As a former attorney originating from a purely logical mindset, I use science-based and evidence-based approaches to generate practical tools to use in your everyday life. Whether we’re drawing from CBT, mindfulness-based practices, attachment theory or other models, my goal is to help you get to know yourself better, communicate more effectively, strengthen your relationships and better navigate the work world.
With Attachment-Focused EMDR, together we can heal the impact of critical or dismissive parenting, loss, and persistent conflict in existing relationships. Trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), which draws upon insights from neuroscience and attachment theory, I also help partners replace frustrating, repetitive patterns of conflict with mutual responsiveness and alleviation of distress.
